Jack Xu

Jack Xu

Founder & CEO
Jack Xu has 30 years of experience working with famous international engineering firms such as Foster Wheeler and Keppel Seghers. In 2008 he founded an environmental engineering company which went public in 2015.

More recently, Jack Xu has transitioned into owning and operating renewable assets nationwide and worldwide. With Jack Xu's managing experience, as well as the professional expertise from the teams, Stonegate will be playing more and more important roles in the renewable power industry in America and around the world.
Justin Krum

Justin Krum

Co-Founder
Justin brings over two decades of experience in sales, business development, and installation of solar systems. Justin first joined the solar industry in 2002, and soon after he founded 1st Light Energy.


Since 2004, has led 1st Light in installing over 1,300 installations totaling over 70 MW of solar PV. Justin is a licensed General Contractor and Master Electrical Contractor in multiple states. Justin studied business management at the University of Utah.
Benjamin Weiner

Benjamin Weiner

Senior Development Manager
Benjamin has almost a decade of experience working in the renewable energy sector. His experience spans all aspects of the industry, including project development, project finance, along with ownership & operations. Benjamin has managed the development and financing of over 130 renewable energy projects.
